I don't care what any of these reviews say - Dr. Dineen is a saint! I rushed my extremely ill & listless bunny here one day right before closing time - I was not a current patient, and had no relationship with him, but I called ahead and they held the clinic open for me (not many vets will even see a rabbit). I was absolutely distraught, but I appreciated Dr. Dineen giving me the hard truth - my bunny was very ill, and was unlikely to make it. He gave me my options - put the bunny down, or face hundreds of dollars of vet bills for an animal that was very unlikely to pull through in the end. I was broke and in college, and I had an essential breakdown in his office. I knew I could not afford mounting vet bills, but wanted to save my pet. Dr. Dineen allowed me to sign over my baby to him so he could give him free care, and then would allow me to adopt him back for a fee that we would agree upon together should he pull through. He didn't make it, sadly, but even after three days of costly hospitalization, Dr. Dineen didn't ask me for a dime when my pet passed away. Most vets would have turned me away, but this vet has heart - he really loves animals and their owners. This is the best vet in Wilmington. Period.
